Common questions

When will the school open?
Our goal is to welcome students in August 2028, pending successful completion of construction and no unforeseen project delays.
Which grades will it serve?
TK–6 — transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.
Where exactly is it being built?
On Cobble Creek Drive, in the Gossamer Grove neighborhood. The District has completed the purchase of the property.
Has the project been approved?
Yes. The project received approval from the Division of the State Architect (DSA), confirming the site meets California's standards for accessibility, structural safety, and building code requirements.
Will my child be moved to the new school?
Attendance boundaries have not been set yet. No family should assume a change until boundaries are adopted and communicated directly.
What about transportation and drop-off?
Transportation and arrival/dismissal plans are still being developed and will be shared here as they are finalized.
What will construction be like for neighbors?
Early work includes site preparation, grading, and underground utility work, so expect equipment, truck traffic, and dust control measures at the site.
How can I follow along?
This page and the progress page are updated as milestones are reached. A letter is also going home to Gossamer Grove families.
